Another bit of history that I learned is about the Stations of the Cross in the Catholic churches. They were originally not biblical and officially changed the Stations to become biblical in 2009. The Passion of the Christ is inaccurate because it was made (2004) before the church changed the cross. I also visited missions in El Paso, TX last month that still depicts the previous Stations of the Cross.
