As a past Sunday School teacher, I have to say that what is taught depends on the curriculum, if there is one, and the teacher. I stopped teaching about 5 years ago, and the church finally found adequate curriculum for preschoolers. I saw the teachers that did the bare minimum and the ones that made the lessons awesome. But, the ones that made an impact our relationship before doctrine.
