Deathbed Confessions of Faith

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

I posted about Ted Bundy and his deathbed confession of faith (link below) on March 8, 2022. Thirteen years ago, when I initially wrote the post, meeting people I haven’t forgiven in heaven was a possibility that didn’t occur to me. I expect to see my family and friends taking their turn to greet me in heaven with open arms after I’ve held my Lord for a while, but not the people who hurt and ridiculed me. It made me think about whether I had forgiven that last group of people.
