I see your point of view. Mandalorian has been the best Disney+ series because of the mini adventures. Kenobi was said to be a very long movie. I think it’s personal perspective on which one captures your interest better. For example, I love Loki so seeing a longer movie was great for me. Kenobi, I wasn't as invested in Kenobi so it wasn't something I wanted to invest in other than being in the loop.
